Munnabhai Ki Aatma Katha is an upcoming Indian comedy film produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Rajesh Mapuskar.[2]. The film will again see Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi reprising their roles.[3] It is the third film of the Munna Bhai series, the first one being Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. followed by Lage Raho Munna Bhai, all of which follow the comic adventures of Munna Bhai or Murli Prasad Sharma (Dutt) and his sidekick, Circuit or Cirkeshwar (Warsi).
The film was earlier titled as "Munna Bhai Chale Amerika".[1] The film will go on floors in 2012.[4]

Director Rajkumar Hirani had postponed, at one point, even shelved the release of the film, after the release of My Name Is Khan. In My Name is Khan, Shah Rukh Khan was seen meeting a look-alike of Barack Obama, and Hirani had also planned to use Obama in the film. Also, he felt that the idea of a common man meeting the President of the US had become normal.[5]
A two-minute teaser trailer was released in early 2007 which depicts Munna and Circuit learning English. They ask each other to translate the meanings of various sentences of Hindi to English, but get them wrong (they think it is right) to comic effect.
